The freight

Small parcels, no margin for error.

E-commerce freight is the opposite of containerized cargo. It is small, it is fast, and it is measured one order at a time. A direct-to-consumer brand shipping from South Florida lives or dies on whether the right item leaves the building on the right day — and a single mis-pick is a refund, a return shipment, and a customer who buys somewhere else next time.

Retail freight adds a different discipline. Shipments into a retail distribution center arrive against a routing guide — appointment windows, labeling standards, carton specifications, and chargebacks waiting for anything out of compliance. The freight is not hard to move; the freight is hard to move exactly the way the retailer requires.

South Florida also runs a particular kind of e-commerce: the bilingual storefront. Brands that sell into Latin America and the Caribbean ship from Miami because Miami is where the lanes are. That freight is e-commerce on the outbound and cross-border trade on the customs side — it has to satisfy both.

The work

What we do with retail freight.

  • Direct-to-consumer fulfillment. Pick, pack, and ship out of the Pompano Beach anchor — order by order, with WMS-tracked inventory, carrier-rate shopping, and same-day cutoffs for orders that land inside the window.
  • Retail-compliant routing. Shipments built to the retailer’s routing guide — appointment scheduling, EDI transactions, compliant labeling and palletization — so the freight clears the distribution center without a chargeback.
  • Returns & disposition. Inbound returns received, inspected, and routed: back to sellable stock, to refurbishment, to liquidation, or to disposal — with the disposition logged so the inventory picture stays accurate.
  • Kitting & assembly. Multi-SKU bundles, retail-ready packaging, subscription boxes, and promotional sets assembled before they ship — the light manufacturing that sits between raw inventory and a finished order.

The corridor

Where the orders go.

Most South Florida e-commerce freight ships two ways. Domestic orders move into Florida and the Southeast on parcel and LTL networks, fast, from a single staging point that reaches a large population without a second warehouse. The Pompano Beach anchor sits on the I-95 corridor with that reach built in.

The outbound international half is what makes South Florida distinct. Brands shipping into Latin America and the Caribbean route through Miami because MIA and the seaports carry the lanes — and because the customs, the consolidation, and the bilingual documentation already live here. An order placed in Bogotá or San Juan and fulfilled from Pompano Beach crosses our e-commerce line and our international-trade line on the same shipment.

Our posture

How we work retail freight.

We treat accuracy as the product. The warehouse work behind an e-commerce order — receiving, putaway, picking, packing — is not glamorous, and the entire point is that the customer never has to think about it. A brand that ships through us should be able to forget the dock door exists.

We scale with the brand rather than against it. A storefront running fifty orders a month and one running fifty thousand both work through the same inquiry channel and the same anchor facility; the difference is throughput, not a different contract. No minimum-volume commitments, no fixed-footprint allocations.
